Privacy policy for Water Damage OC

Last updated October 2026.

What This Policy Covers

This policy explains what information Water Damage OC collects, how we use it and who else may see it. It covers this website and the phone calls and jobs that come from it. We've written it in plain language. It is a general description of our practices, not legal advice.

Information We Collect From You

This website has no forms, no account sign-up and no chat box. We only collect personal information that you choose to tell us, almost always by phone. That usually means your name, phone number, the property address, how to reach the property, and a description of the water damage.

If we work at your property, we also record information about the job. That includes photos of the damage and the repairs, moisture readings, equipment logs, scope notes and the address where the work took place. Photos are taken to document the damage, so they may also show rooms and belongings. If you share details about your insurer, claim number, landlord or HOA, we keep those with the job file too.

How We Use It

We use your information to answer your call, schedule and carry out the work, and keep a record of what we did. We also use it to send you photos, readings and scope notes when you ask. With your permission, we share the job file with your insurance adjuster, property manager or HOA so they can review the damage and the work.

We don't use your information for advertising, and we don't build marketing profiles. We may keep job records for as long as they are useful for the job, a claim or a later question about the work, or as long as the law requires.

No Analytics or Tracking Scripts

This site doesn't run analytics, advertising pixels, session recording or other tracking scripts. We don't set cookies to follow you around the web, and we don't sell or share browsing data. Like any website, our web host may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.

Google Fonts and the Click-to-Load Map

Two third-party services can see limited technical information when you use this site. Our fonts load from Google Fonts. When your browser requests them, Google receives your IP address and basic browser details, as it does for any web request.

The office map on our contact page comes from Google Maps, but it doesn't load until you click View map. If you never click it, no request goes to Google Maps. If you do, Google's own privacy policy applies to that map and the data it collects.

Phone Calls and Call Recording

Calls to our number may be recorded for quality, training and job records, but only where the law permits it and only when the recording is disclosed at the start of the call. If you don't want the call recorded, say so and we'll handle the request another way where we can.

During peak demand, after hours or when our schedule is full, a call may be forwarded to another trusted local restoration provider. In that case, the details you share on the call go to that provider, and their own privacy practices apply.

We Don't Sell Your Personal Information

We do not sell personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only as described above, with people involved in your job at your request, with service providers that help us run the business, or when the law requires it.

Your Rights as a California Resident

California law gives residents rights over their personal information. Depending on the situation, you may ask to know what we have collected about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You may also ask us to limit how we use it. We won't treat you differently for making a request.

Some records may need to be kept even after a deletion request, for example where a claim or a legal duty depends on them. We'll tell you if that applies. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

How to Reach Us About Privacy
