Terms of use for the Water Damage OC website
Last updated October 2026.
Agreeing to These Terms
These terms apply to anyone who uses this website, which is run by Water Damage OC, 23871 Via Fabricante Ste 511, Mission Viejo, CA. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. Any work we do at a property is covered by the written agreement for that job, not by these terms.
General Information, Not a Quote or Professional Advice
The articles, service pages and answers on this site are general information about water damage, drying, mold and related topics. They aren't a quote, an inspection, a diagnosis of your property or professional advice for your situation. Every leak and every building is different, and only an inspection on site can tell you what your home needs.
Pages that touch on insurance, HOA rules or California law are general information only, not legal or insurance advice. Your policy, your CC&Rs and the law decide those questions. Talk to your insurer, your association or a lawyer about your own case.
Cost Ranges Come From Third-Party Sources
Some pages show cost ranges for water damage work. Those figures are planning ranges published by third-party cost guides, and each one names its source. They are not our prices and not an estimate for your job. Your actual cost depends on the water category, how far the water spread, the materials involved and the repairs needed, and it is set only after we see the property.
Contacting Us by Phone
This site has no forms. The only way to reach us through the site is by phone. When you call and give us your number, you agree that we may call you back about your request and your job. We won't use your number for unrelated marketing.
Calls may be recorded for quality, training and job records, but only where the law permits it and only when the recording is disclosed on the call. If you prefer not to be recorded, tell us at the start of the call.
When a Call Is Forwarded to Another Provider
Our technicians handle the service calls that come through this site. During peak demand, after-hours emergencies or when our schedule is full, your call may be forwarded or transferred to another trusted local restoration provider. That provider operates independently of Water Damage OC.
Their availability, pricing and terms can differ from ours, and any agreement for work is between you and them. Before any work begins, ask whoever arrives about their credentials and insurance, and ask for the scope and price in writing.
No Promise of Availability or Arrival Time
We answer the phone 24/7, but this site doesn't promise that a technician will be available at a particular time or arrive within a set window. Storms, traffic and the number of open jobs all affect scheduling. We'll give you our best information on the call.
Insurance Coverage Is Your Insurer's Decision
We can document a job with photos, moisture readings and scope notes, and we can share that file with your adjuster at your request. Whether a loss is covered, and for how much, is decided by your insurer under your policy. Nothing on this site or said on a call is a promise of coverage or of a claim outcome.
Links to Other Websites
This site links to outside sources, such as government agencies, water districts and published cost guides, so you can check the facts we cite. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices. A link isn't an endorsement.
Limits on Our Liability
We work to keep this site accurate and current, but it is provided as is, and information can go out of date. To the extent the law allows, Water Damage OC isn't liable for loss or damage that comes from using this site or relying on its general information. That includes decisions made without an inspection. Nothing here limits any right you have under California law that can't be limited by agreement.
California Law Applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute about this website will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page, and the new terms apply from the day they are posted. If you keep using the site after that, you accept the updated terms.
